The ski has a Polyurethane Foam Core which along with a $200 lower price are the key differences between the Coefficient X and the Coefficient X/SL. The softer foam core allows the ski to be more forgiving but not quite as fast as the X/SL. Like the X/SL, the Coefficient X also features the revolutionary Step Concave Design, which helps free water molecules that stick to the bottom of the ski, giving the skier less drag and more speed. With the Coefficient X, you will carry more speed going across the wake, and will get more time to make that next turn or buoy.

Blended Carbon Fiber and Fiberglass reinforcements allow the Coefficient X to have less torsional flex, which gives the ski a great sweet spot. Combined with the 5 stage rocker feature, this ski is a great ski to have whether your going out for a free ride or trying to improve your time on the course!
